In celebration of his new book Angels in the Cellar: Notes from a French Vineyard, join winegrower Peter Hahn for an intimate prix-fixe dinner and discussion at local Fort Greene restaurant Bar Heretic. A poetic account of a year spent returning to nature, Angels in the Cellar is a powerful repudiation of the global economy, hyper-consumption, and the impact of large-scale farming on the land and its ecosystems. As each course is presented, enjoy thoughtfully selected wines from Peter's micro-vineyard La Meslerie that complement each plate, as he takes you from pairing to pairing, through the book, and into the Garden of France.
