About this Event

Hosted by isobel, the Brand Reset Co. We're are an award winning, independent company, helping brands write their next chapter. We help unlock the full potential of some of the nation’s best known brands.

Football is home to some of the biggest brands on the planet.

Very few brands are ever followed as passionately. Or disliked so categorically.

Clubs, leagues, players, media, ITK accounts. The role of brands inside football is growing and changing fast.

So, on Tuesday 20th October, we're bringing together the people building and shaping brands across the game, for a unique discussion on football and brand.

We'll be hearing from..

Harry Hugo, Chairman, Farnham Town FC >

Harry co-founded Goat, the globally recognised, award-winning influencer agency, and exited after a sale to WPP in 2023. Led by his passion for football, he invested in Farnham Town FC and became Chairman. Taking all his agency, brand and social learnings, he's driven three promotions in four seasons and grown the club past 100,000 followers in a single season - prompting Sky Sports to ask whether Farnham are the non-League Wrexham.

Ruth Hooper, CMO, WSL Football >

The woman behind one of football's biggest brand resets. Ruth has helped transform the WSL with a new name, a new identity and a new commercial structure, all inside two years. She also spent eight years at Nike, latterly as Brand Planning Director, and is a Board Trustee at Street Soccer London.

Chris Marlow, CMO, Southampton FC >

Chris left a 17-year agency career, ending as CEO of Iris, to become CMO of Southampton FC. He's building the brand of a club with huge history, recent controversy, now competing outside the Premier League. He’s also helping to build TURF, Southampton's in-house creative studio, which works with external clients too.

Dan Kilpatrick, Deputy Managing Editor, The Athletic >

Dan spent 10 years as a football correspondent and journalist, as Chief Football Correspondent for The London Standard and Tottenham Hotspur correspondent for ESPN FC. His time covering Spurs has given him a front-row seat for Tottenham's club-wide transformation, as well as the growth of brands within football media. He moved to The Athletic last year, where he is Deputy Managing Editor.

Football fans and non-fans all are very welcome.
