About this Event
Amant New York, Fall 2026 resident Paul Maheke presents A Darkling Ring of Unresolved Shadows, a performance unfolding through live reading, sound, moving image, storytelling and speculation.
Compiling texts and sounds of various kinds, borrowed or written by Maheke himself, A Darkling Ring of Unresolved Shadows takes the form of a collective meditation on different forms of entanglement, in which the sound of the self and the cosmos enter into dialogue. Moving between science fiction, diary notes, personal observations, and other fragments, the work explores the tenuous border between the visible and the invisible.
This program is part of the For Your Reference series, where our artists in residence share and discuss key references informing their ongoing research at Amant. Amant programs are always free.
