A Conversation with Petra Hůlová and Alex Zucker
Join The Alan Cheuse International Writers Center in collaboration with the Czech Embassy, the Czech and Slovak Society for Arts and Sciences, and DC -ALT for a special evening with acclaimed Czech author Petra Hůlová and award-winning translator Alex Zucker celebrating the publication of THE LONG VERSION.
Can a woman say “#MeToo” 20 years after the fact? Or is this a right reserved for the younger generation? An extraordinary novel about feminism and culture wars, The Long Version explores the #MeToo movement from a generational angle through a mother-daughter conflict.
