Politics and Prose and The Writer’s Center welcome writer Daniel Nayeri for the launch of his new book THIS IS A DOOR and a discussion of an exciting new style of story and craftsmanship.

A young boy sets out on a hero's journey to defeat the Giantess, accompanied by his trusty mouse and dog. As the story unfolds, the text mirrors their progress, swirling, growing, until each traveler finds what they are searching for: their best purpose. A true work of art, in both storytelling and craftsmanship.
About the Author:
Daniel Nayeri is an award-winning author of children and teen fiction, including most recently, The Teacher of Nomad Land. After being born in Iran and immigrating to Oklahoma, Nayeri attended NYU. He currently lives with his family in New Jersey.
