About this Event
Intergenerational Connection and Dialogue
What can we learn from one another when we make space to connect across generations?
Join the Black Diaspora Liberty Initiative (BDLI), Rustin Institute and Adodi Brothers of Atlanta for the next gathering of 4 Corners, 1 People, a community conversation series bringing together Black gay, lesbian, bisexual, queer, and Same Gender Loving people from across the diaspora.
Our experiences are shaped by where we come from, when we grew up, and the communities that helped us become who we are. This gathering invites us to explore those differences with curiosity, share what we have learned, and build relationships across generations.
Through a moderated panel, audience dialogue, and informal connection over food, we will create room for honest conversation, laughter, and new perspectives.
About the series
4 Corners, 1 People brings together voices with roots across Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America, the United States, and Europe. The series creates space to challenge stereotypes and assumptions, deepen our understanding of one another, and strengthen community across the Black diaspora.
Whether you have attended before or are joining us for the first time, come ready to listen, share, and meet someone whose experience may be different from your own. You are welcome to participate at your own comfort level.
