About this Event

🥑🍓🥕🫛🥦🍍🍋🥗
📆Friday 21st August we are back at Number 28 with a '3rd Friday Feast' that's open to all.
⏳Doors at 6.30pm - food at 7pm(ish)
🥵📉The weather will have cooled off a LOT... good news for the kitchen team! We're putting our oven on, so you don't have to!

This month's menu is vegan and gluten free:
🍳Spanish omlette with potato, onion & paprika, served warm. Special thanks to the lovely Leise of Vegan Revalation for letting us appropriate her recipe.

🥕 Summer slaw with a light lemon vinaigrette dressing.

🥒Pickled dill cucumbers (with thanks to Reunion for the inspiration).
🥬Leafy green salad from Pingle Produce and Gummers of King Street.

...and for pud...

🫐🍨Blackberry, almond and polenta cake, served warm with vanilla soy ice cream.
🍷🍻if you fancy a tipple, please bring your own or grab a take-away from the Angel micro-pub next door.
Book your FREE SPOT via Eventbrite.
We collect donations after the meal, so please bring cash if you can. Any surplus will be donated to charity - more about that on the night.
🤗If you're feeling a bit shy or unsure, please reach out and we will do our best to make sure your needs are catered for. Come alone or with others, it's all good!🤗
With love from Team 3FF 😘

3FF is a community dining experience on 3rd Fridays at Number 28 community space in Belper.

Each month a team of volunteers serves a main course and pudding.

Donations are taken after the meal, and any surplus after costs is donated to a charity of the lead cook's choice.

Diners are asked to volunteer for a small chore - many hands make light work, and many mates are made while drying dishes!

Spaces are free to book, but we ask that when choosing how much to donate, you consider:

A: pay what you can (paying nothing is of course acceptable)

B: pay a donation based on the costs for putting on the event (usually around £5-10 a head) plus more if you value community projects or want to support the chosen charity.

C: pay a solidarity rate, i.e. an additional premium to help subsidise costs for your neighbours who may be less able to do so.
