We'll cover how 3D printing works, where to find free 3D model files online, and how to use PrusaSlicer — free software that prepares your design for printing. By the end, you'll send your very own model to a Prusa 3D printer and watch it come to life. Laptops provided!
What You Will Learn:
How 3D printing works
Where to find free 3D model files (STLs) online
How to use PrusaSlicer to prepare your model for printing
How to send your design to a Prusa 3D printer

Upon completion, and with a pay-what-you-can donation to The Foundry, you'll be eligible to use our makerspaces during Open Maker Hours (Mondays 6–9pm & Saturdays 9am–1pm) to continue building your skills and work on personal projects with support from our trained supervisors.
