The 30th anniversary of the Haunted Halsted Halloween Parade becomes an all-day affair on Saturday, October 31, 2026, on Halsted Street between Aldine Avenue and Addison Avenue in Northalsted, Chicago.Schedule:
- 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM: Haunted Halsted Fest, with food, drinks, music, local vendors, live performances, street performers and dedicated areas and activities for kids and families
- 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Haunted Halsted Halloween Parade, Chicago's only Halloween night parade, with more than 300 costumed participants
- 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM: Costume Contest and post-parade party
Ranked one of the top ten Halloween parades in the US by Fodor's Travel. The parade features the Chicago Full Moon Jam fire performers, Windy City Jeep Club, Chicago Thriller, Lakeside Pride Marching Band, The Windy City Rollers and the Chicago Spirit Brigade pep squad.
The costume contest covers five categories (Character, Creative, Scary, Youth under 13, and Group) with $4,000 in total cash prizes: $500 / $200 / $100 for first, second and third in each category. Registration is on the Northalsted website.
