Get ready for the next Prelude!
Fancy putting your general knowledge to the test while meeting some new people?
For this Prelude, we’re heading to The Nags Head Rochester to join their existing pub quiz, putting together one or two teams made up of local singles aged 24–38.
You’ll be teamed up with other Singles' Social Club attendees, so whether you come on your own or with a friend, you’ll have a ready-made team to join. Then it’s simply a case of answering questions, having a few drinks, getting competitive (but not too competitive 😉) and seeing how you get on with everyone.
The quiz itself is free to enter — the £3 Eventbrite registration is simply to secure your place with Singles' Social Club Rochester and helps cover the costs of organising the event and club materials.
Places are limited, so please register through Eventbrite to secure your place on one of our quiz teams.
No need to be a walking Wikipedia. You might be the person who knows every obscure 90s film fact… or the one who confidently answers a question with absolutely no idea whether it’s right. Either way, you’re welcome. 😏
Come for the quiz. Meet some new people. Grab a drink. Have a laugh.

You don't need to come with a friend — in fact, coming on your own is encouraged. Most people will be there for exactly the same reason: to meet some new people and have a good time.

Welcome to Singles' Social Club Rochester 👋
So… how are we supposed to meet people these days?
Dating apps? Exhausting.
Speed dating? Potentially awkward, and somehow expensive.
Going into London every weekend in the hope of meeting someone or making new friends?
Surely there’s another way.
That’s the idea behind Singles' Social Club Rochester.
A social club for local singles aged 24–38, created to make meeting new people feel a little more natural — and a lot more fun.
We’ll get together for everything from padel, pilates, paddleboarding and bouldering to yoga, dinners, comedy nights, cruises, pub quizzes, day trips and the occasional drink or two. Some events will be active, some relaxed, some slightly ridiculous — but they’ll all have one thing in common: a group of people who are actually up for meeting others.
Come on your own or bring a friend. Try something new. Make some friends. Have a drink. Have a laugh. Maybe flirt a little. And who knows… you might even meet someone you’d like to see again.
The events are aimed at 24–38-year-olds, but don’t worry if you’re a little outside that range — if you think you’ll fit in, you’re welcome.
We’ll aim to keep the groups roughly balanced between guys and girls, while making sure the focus stays on having a genuinely good time rather than treating every event like a dating exercise.
Why “Prelude”?
Each event is called a Prelude — Prelude 1, Prelude 2, Prelude 3 and so on.
Why? Because hopefully each one is the beginning of something: a new friendship, a new connection, a new experience… or perhaps something a little more.
