THE OFFICIAL 2026 PIJF LAUNCH AT BROOKFIELD PLACEPerth International Jazz Festival and Brookfield Place Perth are turning up the volume once again, transforming the heart of the city into a vibrant jazz playground for one unforgettable night.
📅 On Saturday 10 October, Brookfield Place precinct and its premium hospitality venues will come alive with live jazz, soul, funk, groove and genre-defying sounds, bringing together some of WA’s finest emerging and established musicians.
𝟰𝗣𝗠 𝗧𝗢 𝗠𝗜𝗗𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧. 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗧. 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗕𝗜𝗚 𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗝𝗔𝗭𝗭.
Move between The Bridge, Print Hall, Small Print, Bobèche, The Heritage, Bob’s Bar and Lupe’s Cervecería, with performances unfolding across bars, restaurants and spaces throughout the precinct.
Starting on The Bridge, the WAAPA Jazz Vocal Ensemble brings the lush harmonies and Brazilian rhythms of Bossa Nova to life, before Chameleon Brass Band takes the music on the move with a high-energy hit of New Orleans brass and funk.
As the evening unfolds, discover intimate sets from the Gianni Petta Trio, Jeremy Thomson Duo, Jazz Tupí Trio, Valentina Macias Duo and Vib3 Organ Trio, each bringing their own distinctive sound to the festival.
Back on The Bridge, the William Chiew Quintet keeps the celebrations moving before award-winning songstress Shameem closes the main stage with her soulful fusion of jazz, R&B and groove.
And when the sun goes down, the energy goes up 🎷⚡️
Head upstairs to Bob’s Bar for the funky, improvisational sounds of the Lachlan Edinger Electric Trio, or make your way to Lupe’s Cervecería for Sax & Spin, where live saxophone collides with deep-house DJ rhythms and late-night dancefloor energy.
🥂 Grab a drink, book dinner, follow the music from venue to venue or stay for the late-night sessions. However you do it, the night is yours.
