The annual Mumfest MUMosa 5K is back on October 11, 2026 and ready to hit the streets of historic downtown New Bern! Hosted by New Bern Parks & Recreation, this high-energy race is part of the iconic Mumfest weekend — a community favorite packed with music, food, arts, and family-friendly fun.This year, the wait is over! We’re officially debuting the exciting new route we were ready to roll out last year. Runners will enjoy a partially closed course winding right through the heart of the Mumfest festival footprint, putting you in the middle of all the action!
And because every great race deserves a great finish… enjoy a FREE mimosa at the finish line as you celebrate your run!

$40 September 1 through race day

10 & Under, 11–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70–79, and 80+
