Как намираме равновесие в свят, който непрекъснато се променя? Какво се случва с тялото, когато думите вече не са достатъчни?
На 7 ноември откриваме ✨ Derida Dance Fest 2026 ✨ с две срещи със съвременния танц, които ни отвеждат отвъд познатите граници на движението, контрола и изразяването.
От Румъния пристигат Александра Михаела Данч и Влад Бенеску със своето тричасово хореографско изследване на равновесието „Соматични откачалки - Революцията на проприоцепторите“. По-късно вечерта южнокорейският артист Хънг Уон Ли представя „Без думи“ - интимно соло за паметта, загубата и невидимата тежест, която носим в телата си.
Две различни хореографски перспективи, обединени от въпроса за човешката крехкост, способността ни да се адаптираме и възможността да открием устойчивост дори в моментите на несигурност.

„Соматични откачалки“ е тричасово хореографско изследване на проприоцепцията - способността да усещаме положението и движението на собственото си тяло - и на непрекъснатото търсене на равновесие.
Работейки с голям тандемен уред за баланс, Александра Михаела Данч и Влад Бенеску изграждат динамична система от взаимозависимости, в която всяко движение поражда необходимост от нова реакция. Стабилността никога не е окончателна, а дисбалансът се превръща във възможност за откриване на нови начини на взаимодействие.
Представлението се разгръща като жива лаборатория, в която провалът и възстановяването, доверието и контролът, крехкостта и адаптацията съществуват едновременно.
Как възстановяваме равновесието си в нестабилни условия - физически и емоционални? И възможно ли е да приемем баланса не като фиксиран идеал, а като непрекъснат процес на промяна?
Александра Михаела Данч и Влад Бенеску са независими артисти в областта на съвременния танц, които работят заедно от 2022 г. Творческата им практика преминава през хореография, соматични изследвания, специфични за пространството представления и технологии, често преплетени с хумор и абсурд. В центъра на работата им стоят движението, играта и рискът.

Какво остава, когато думите не могат да поберат преживяното?
„Без думи“ е солов танцов спектакъл, който изследва емоционалните последствия от личния и семейния разпад. Вдъхновен от преживяванията на самия хореограф - финансовия крах на семейството му, детството, белязано от депресията на майка му, и инсулта на баща му - спектакълът проследява начините, по които скръбта, мълчанието и безпомощността се вписват в тялото.
Вместо да следва линеен разказ, творбата се развива чрез сдържано, но интензивно физическо присъствие, обитавайки крехкото пространство между неподвижността и изразяването.
Тук мълчанието не означава отсъствие. То се превръща в пространство, наситено с памет, болка и устойчивост.
Чрез откровено и уязвимо движение „Без думи“ разкрива невидимата тежест, която носим, и самотното усилие да продължим напред в моменти на разрив.
Интимна и дълбоко човешка медитация върху тихото оцеляване.

How do we find balance in a world that is constantly changing? What happens to the body when words are no longer enough?
On November 7, we open ✨Derida Dance Fest 2026✨ with two encounters in contemporary dance that take us beyond the familiar boundaries of movement, control, and expression.
From Romania, Alexandra Mihaela Dancs and Vlad Benescu bring their three-hour choreographic exploration of balance, Somatic Freaks - The Proprioceptors Revolution. Later in the evening, South Korean artist Heungwon Lee presents Speechless, an intimate solo about memory, loss, and the invisible weight we carry in our bodies.
Two distinct choreographic perspectives united by questions of human fragility, our capacity to adapt, and the possibility of finding resilience even in moments of uncertainty.

Somatic Freaks - The Proprioceptors Revolution is a three-hour choreographic exploration of proprioception - our ability to sense the position and movement of our own bodies - and the continuous search for balance.
Working with a large tandem balancing apparatus, Alexandra Mihaela Dancs and Vlad Benescu create a dynamic system of interdependence in which every movement calls for a new response. Stability is never permanent, and imbalance becomes an opportunity to discover new ways of interacting.
The performance unfolds as a living laboratory where failure and recovery, trust and control, fragility and adaptation coexist.
How do we regain equilibrium in unstable conditions, both physical and emotional? And is it possible to understand balance not as a fixed ideal, but as an ongoing process of change?
Alexandra Mihaela Dancs and Vlad Benescu are independent contemporary dance artists who have been collaborating since 2022. Their artistic practice spans choreography, somatic research, site-specific performances, and technology, often intertwined with humour and absurdity. Movement, play, and risk remain at the heart of their work.

What remains when words can no longer hold what we have experienced?
Speechless is a solo dance performance exploring the emotional aftermath of personal and familial collapse. Drawing from the choreographer's own experiences - including his family's financial ruin, a childhood marked by his mother's depression, and the trauma of his father's stroke - the performance traces the ways in which grief, silence, and helplessness become inscribed in the body.
Rather than following a linear narrative, the work unfolds through restrained yet intense physical presence, inhabiting the fragile space between stillness and expression.
Here, silence does not mean absence. It becomes a space charged with memory, pain, and resilience.
Through raw and vulnerable movement, Speechless reveals the invisible weight we carry and the solitary effort of moving forward in moments of rupture.
An intimate and deeply human meditation on quiet survival.
