Join Canines for Service's Zoomies for a Cause 5K & 1-mile Walk in celebration of World Mental Health Day! #RunWalkWagBy participating, you are helping Canines for Service provide highly trained service dogs to Veterans at no cost and with no fundraising obligation. Your support helps improve the lives of Veterans living with disabilities while also raising awareness about the importance of mental health.
The in-person event will be located at Long Leaf Park (Shelter #4) in Wilmington, NC. Check in starts at 12:00pm. The 1-mile fun run/walk begins at 12:30pm, and the 5K* begins at 1:00pm. Both events are dog-friendly, so feel free to bring your four-legged companion along for the fun!
Can't join us in person? Participate from anywhere with our Virtual Race option!
*Please note: 5K race times will be recorded by volunteers and not by a professional timing company.
