This is a FREE event. Bring a few zines to give away, and take home new ones
ALL FOR FREE
Do you have some zines with misprints, wonky-staple jobs or a ton of extras laying around?
This event is a perfect way to get your work into somebody's hands.
The zines you bring to swap don't have to be your work, if you've got a whole library of little booklets, bring some by and take home new stuff!
ZINES OF ALL TYPES ARE WELCOME!
There are no restrictions on form, content or the language it's printed in!
Don't forget to bring a bag!
You do not need to bring zines to take zines! This is a FREE event. RSVP ticket not required. Any zines brought to the swap and not taken during the event are considered donated to Collide Zine Philly & STITCH AND DESTROY.
STITCH AND DESTROY is located in Philadelphia at 523 S 4th St. We are an upcycled alternative fashions studio and store- creating clothing from textile waste, selling local recycled wares, and hosting sewing workshops. Location and Accessibility:
Our zine swap will take place in the studio section of our store, which is not wheelchair accessible. There are 4 steps of stairs to enter the studio space.
STITCH AND DESTROY is located right off of South Street on 4th St in Philadelphia. Our address is 523 S 4th St. Philadelphia, PA 19147.
There is limited metered street parking on our block and in this area it can be difficult to find parking. We suggest taking public transportation- Bus 40, 57, 12, 47, 42 and 21 are nearby. The Market-Frankford Line 5th St stop is 7 blocks away. The Broad Street Line Lombard-South stop is 10 blocks away.
