Zar the Star And Friends is a stand-up comedian and viral content creator based in New York City. Born in Tajikistan to an Afghan father and raised in Toronto, she brings her sharp wit, bold storytelling and unique life experiences to the stage.
Known for her viral character sketches, crowd work and hilarious interactions with scam callers, Zar has built a loyal online community of over one million followers. Her comedy explores cultural identity, politics, religion and her experience as a refugee, always with a fearless and unfiltered point of view.
Zar is currently touring with shows including Scam Likely and her Post Op Tour. Whether she is performing stand-up, doing impressions or making prank phone calls live on stage, one thing is guaranteed: she brings a unique kind of chaos and energy to every show.
