Opis:

- About:
Yoga is for everyone, regardless of age or physical or mental condition. It is a practice that brings together the body and the mind. Yoga is often understood as a combination of physical postures (asanas) and meditation practices that help cultivate inner stillness. During our sessions, we would like to bring together these different aspects of yoga by combining hatha yoga, movement and dance, and meditation.
In the Indian tradition, the aim of yoga is a state of inner quiet in which the restless activity of the mind comes to rest. That is why we meditate by sitting together in silence.
Yoga is based on relaxation, letting go, and observing thoughts and imagination. Alongside basic yoga postures, participants will also learn simple breathing exercises (pranayama).
Martyna is a certified yoga instructor whose practice focuses on Kundalini Yoga, which works with breath, movement and awareness of the body's energy.
Cecylia has practised yoga and meditation since childhood and leads meditation gatherings. She is also a practitioner of free-form Indian dance, and participants will have the opportunity to move and dance together.
Cela will also introduce participants to meditation. She describes it in these words:
"Meditation is, for me, an experience of life.
We sit quietly in half lotus or cross-legged.
You can also sit on a chair.
We gather our thoughts in the heart.
In silence.
To relax,
we need to observe our thoughts.
Thoughts live in the soul.
The mind thinks,
and the heart rejoices in ecstasy.
The mind must connect with the heart.
Focus on the soul.
In a clear mind.
In silence.
Then there is no fear, no hunger, no death.
Inner silence.
The mind becomes calmer.
And the heart rejoices in ecstasy.
Heart and mind are like two drops of water.
In yoga there is neither fear nor death.
It means overcoming the fear of death.
Because the soul is always at peace.
And love is eternal."
Cela and Martyna invite you to join sessions where you can learn simple practices for physical and mental well-being, as well as exercises that may help improve your quality of life.
All you need is comfortable clothing, your favourite cushion, and a willingness to meet others and explore yourself.
