For many in Peterborough, the holiday season doesn’t truly begin until the Singers take the stage for Yuletide. Join us for a glorious evening of seasonal songs, carols, and the ever-popular sing-along favourites. We are thrilled to welcome back the brilliant Venabrass ensemble, the Peterborough Children’s Chorus, and our own Conductor Emeritus Syd Birrell at the organ.
Alongside cherished traditions, the program weaves in music that celebrates the fuller spirit of the season, including a luminous prayer for peace and Cree Canadian composer Andrew Balfour’s reimagining of the Huron Carol. Familiar and new, sacred and joyful, Yuletide Cheer is a warm-hearted gathering for the whole family.
