About this Event
Join us as we explore the overlooked wildlife of London. Discover Hampstead Heath, which has a rich mix of habitats of grassland, heathland, woodland and more! This time of year, we will be looking for winter visitors and other wildlife, including waterbirds and fungi.
Species to look out for include redwing, fieldfare, redpoll and siskins - not birds you see often!
We will meet at Parliament Hill Café and explore the heath at a leisurely pace.
There will also likely be an optional food social at the end.
If you have any questions or access needs get in touch with us!
Our mission?
Come along to our fifth event by the London Nature Club run by and for young adults (18 to 35) living in and around the London area.
These are casual events to learn more about our local nature spots, including birds and insects, and to meet other like-minded individuals.
Our goal is to create a London-based community of young nature enthusiasts to share knowledge, joy and new experiences.
We welcome knowledge sharing within our community, whether you're a new birder, have a random nature fact or are a seasoned expert - this is a space to share skills & have fun!
Where to meet? We will meet outside the Parliament Hill Café at 10:30am to leave promptly at 10:45am.
