Ready to level up your money skills? Join Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Iota Upsilon Lambda Chapter for a FREE Youth Financial Literacy Workshop designed to help young people build the knowledge and confidence needed to make smart money decisions.
Money is something you will use for the rest of your life, so why not learn how to manage it now? This fun, interactive workshop will break down financial topics in a way that is practical, engaging, and easy to understand. You do not need to already know anything about finances. Just come ready to learn, participate, and ask questions!
During the workshop, participants will explore important topics such as:
- Budgeting: Learn how to create a simple plan for your money and make choices about what to spend and what to save.
- Saving: Discover why saving early matters and how small amounts can add up over time.
- Smart Spending: Learn how to tell the difference between wants and needs and avoid spending habits that can get you into financial trouble.
