A Sunday Reset- aiming to understand mum guilt, quiet your inner critic and leave with practical Clinical Psychologist-led tools.
About this Event

A Sunday Reset for You

Before another busy week begins, take 90 minutes just for you. This will be a warm, supportive and honest space, with non judgemental conversations about the parts of motherhood we rarely say out loud. You’ll be welcomed with a drink and a nourishing snack (because mums deserve looking after too), connect with other like minded mums, and hopefully leave feeling lighter, more self-compassionate and with practical strategies to carry into everyday life.

Does this sound familiar?

“I feel guilty all the time.”

If you’ve ever found yourself thinking…

  • I’m not patient enough.
  • I should be enjoying this more.
  • I’m working too much. I’m working too little.
  • I’m not giving each child enough.
  • I’ve shouted again.
  • They’re having too much screen time.
  • I should be doing more.
  • I shouldn’t need a break.

…you’re not alone.

Mum guilt has a way of creeping into almost every part of motherhood. It can leave us questioning ourselves, feeling like we’re never quite enough even when we’re doing our absolute best (which is more than enough!).

What we’ll explore together:

This isn’t a workshop about getting rid of guilt altogether. It’s about understanding why it shows up in the first place, what your brain is trying to do when guilt takes over, and learning practical psychological tools that genuinely help.

As a Clinical Psychologist specialising in matrescence (and also a mum who experiences mum guilt too!), I’ll guide you through evidence-based approaches that you can start using straight away.

Together we’ll explore:

  • Why mum guilt feels so powerful
  • The difference between helpful guilt and unhelpful guilt
  • Why your inner critic gets so loud in motherhood
  • How your brain responds to stress and pressure
  • Why “good enough” parenting really is enough
  • Practical real life Clinical Psychologist led techniques

Who is this for?

Anyone who:

• Wants to better understand yourself in motherhood

• Values psychologically-informed insight

• Wants to build tools before you need them. Because these strategies are most effective when they become familiar- something you can access more easily when harder days come.

This space is for every mother:

• Pregnant women (your matrescence has already begun)

• Mothers of babies and older children

• Anyone navigating ongoing identity shifts in motherhood

✨ What you’ll gain:

• A clear understanding of Mum Guilt

• Practical, simple tools for everyday motherhood - particularly techniques to regulate your nervous system when guilt takes over

• Space to pause and reflect

• Connection with like-minded women

• A sense of beginning to build your village

• Take-home resources to continue using beyond the event

You’ll also be welcomed with a drink and a nourishing snack because mums need looking after too!

Think of this as your Sunday reset - a space to pause, reflect, and begin the week feeling more grounded and supported.
