About this Event
Bring your dating profile. Women 24 to 38 help you rewrite your bio and rank your photos. One drink and one pastry included.
You know what you want in a partner. But does your profile say it? Bring your phone, your bio and a few photos, and let a small group of honest women help you rewrite it over a drink and a pastry. You'll leave with a better bio line and your photos in the right order.
WHO WE ARE
We're Dorsa and Mehran, a couple who met on Hinge, and we're new to Vancouver too. We're not therapists, coaches or experts of any kind. We love relationship podcasts, we've learned a lot from our own mistakes, and we'd like to meet women who enjoy talking about love honestly. That's the whole credential.
ONE THING TO KNOW FIRST
This is an afternoon for women. Mehran is the only man in the room. He joins later in the afternoon to tell our story and answer your questions, and he steps out while you work on your profiles. You're welcome to sit out any part.

THE ESSENTIALS
• When: Sunday, November 1, 4:30pm to 6:00pm
• Where: Guffo Cafe, downtown Vancouver. The full address is on this page and in your ticket email.
• Date and location: both are subject to change, and a change of date or location is not a reason for a refund. The location will always stay in downtown Vancouver. We'll email every ticket holder as soon as anything changes.
• Price: $20 per person, fees included. It includes one drink (medium size) and one pastry of your choice from Guffo Cafe. There are no extra costs: nothing else is required. A second drink or pastry is not included and is on you if you want one.
• Included: one drink (medium size) and one pastry per ticket, from Guffo Cafe.
• Who: women, roughly 24 to 38. This afternoon is for women. All women are welcome, including trans women.
• Size: a small table of 4 to 10 women.
• Hosts: Dorsa and Mehran
• Allergies or dietary needs: tell us in the ticket form and we'll check with the cafe.

• If fewer than 4 women have signed up by Thursday, October 22 at 6pm, we cancel and refund you in full.

Info: Each person shares their biggest red flags, must-haves, and dating profile, if they have one. We then give them our honest thoughts, feedback, and suggestions.
The key is that they also get to hear what Mehran thinks. His perspective as a man adds another dimension to the conversation, giving the participants a chance to understand how their dating preferences, profiles, and behaviours might come across from the other side.

Do you know someone?
Info: Each woman says in 30 seconds what she's looking for (qualities, not looks). If anyone in the room, or Mehran, might know a good man for her, they say so in a sentence, with no names. An introduction only happens if he says yes first, and it's made privately by the person who knows him. There is no guarantee anyone will know anyone. The point is to learn from each other and to connect.
