About this Event
Sunset Exhale is a standing offer to close your Sunday the way your nervous system craves to settle: on the sand, breath by breath, watching the sky change color, before the week ahead asks anything of you.
This is a donation based breathwork session, open to every level of experience. Whether you have practiced for years or have never done a formal breathwork session in your life, you are welcome no matter the level. This is about connection and community building, while also giving yourself the care you need and that feels in alignment. Human connection is more important than ever.
This is holotropic, trauma-informed breathwork — Holotropic breath uses a pattern of conscious, connected breathing that shifts your autonomic nervous system, the part of you that runs fight, flight, freeze, and rest. As your breathing changes, your body often moves through it too: tension releasing, emotion surfacing, old patterns loosening their grip. That's not something to fear. It's your nervous system doing exactly what it's designed to do when it finally has permission to.
Trauma-informed means the pacing, the space, and the facilitation are built around your safety, not around getting to a certain state. There's a guided arc to the practice, and there's also room for whatever wants to move through you in the moment. You can pause, slow down, or opt out of anything at any time. Two things can be true at once: structure and surrender, intention and instinct. You're held either way.
