Hola, Los Angeles.
This one's for the water. Our monthly group surf is back, and this time we're opening it up with a free beginner's clinic for anyone who's been wanting to paddle out but hasn't had the entry point yet.
The Group Session
We paddle out at 8:00 AM. A morning session, in the group, no pressure to be the strongest surfer in the lineup, just a chance to move, be in the ocean, and be alongside other women doing the same.
New to Surfing? Join the Free Clinic.
From 9:00 to 9:45 AM, we're running a free beginner's clinic right in the middle of the session. Pop-ups, board basics, paddling, and getting comfortable in the water, no experience needed and no pressure. Come for just the clinic or stay for the full four hours, either way, this is your invitation in.
The Intention
Surfing has its own kind of teaching: patience with the wait, trust in your own timing, and the humility of being small next to something so much bigger than you. This session is about being in that rhythm together, not performing it.
Why This Matters
Community that gets in the water together builds something different than community that just talks about it. This is a standing monthly invitation to keep showing up, and to bring a friend who's been on the fence.
What to Bring
- Wetsuit or rashguard (weather dependent)
- Your own board, if you have one (loaners available on request)
- Sunscreen, water, a towel
- A ride-or-die attitude for cold water and good company
