About this Event
Ground Reflect Restore
Sadhana means dedicated practice. A commitment to showing up again and again, with intention.
Abhyāsa-vairāgyābhyāṃ tan-nirodhaḥ
"Through practice and non-attachment, stillness is cultivated."
Yoga Sūtras 1.12
Deepen your relationship with yourself through yoga philosophy, asana and pranayama. Each week we will explore different parts of yoga philosophy and weave it into our 75 minute practice. Beginning and ending with stillness, we gift our body and mind a moment of breathing space, before cultivating our asana and pranayama practice. This is not about doing the perfect practice or being good at yoga. It is about learning to listen, to meet yourself where you are and to discover what becomes possible when you dedicate time to yourself.

Rory McNeil is a movement teacher and facilitator offering practices that reconnect body, breath, and awareness. Drawing from yoga, qigong, and aerial disciplines, Rory’s classes are grounded, spacious, and designed to guide students toward a more attuned and embodied experience of themselves.
With a deep respect for the intelligence of the body and a softness in approach, Rory’s teaching invites presence over performance, curiosity over control. His sessions create a held space to explore strength, fluidity, and rest, on the mat, in the air, and within.
Rooted in ritual, rhythm, and breath, Rory’s work supports others in returning to their center, moving with intention, and cultivating a sense of ease through embodied practice.
As a queer person, Rory is passionate about creating spaces that are inclusive, affirming, and alive to the diversity of human experience. He draws from his own lived journey within the LGBTQ+ community to hold classes where individuals of all identities can feel seen, safe, and free to explore embodiment on their own terms — without expectation, and with deep care.
About We The Conscious
We The Conscious is the UK's only breath-led multidisciplinary studio with aerial relaxation hammocks, in the heart of Hackney, East London.
We take breathwork very seriously, because we know the profound impact it has on your health, body and mind. Your breath holds the power to regulate your nervous system, shift your state and unlock deep change. We use it to its full spectrum, as a functional daily tool for stress, anxiety, sleep and focus, and as a somatic tool to intentionally process, transform, release and recalibrate your system and your subconscious mind.
We exist to help people reconnect with their bodies and live more consciously, in a way that feels grounded and welcoming. From weekly classes to breathwork sessions, retreats, community socials and volunteering days, We The Conscious is a place to breathe, connect and belong.
The We The Conscious Method is a breath-driven somatic practice that takes you past the physical and into deeper levels of awareness and consciousness. Breath, movement, vocal toning, curated music and aromatherapy, calling on every sense to activate your body's natural healing process, creating space for emotional regulation, stress release and connection to the intelligence of your body.
Every practice in the studio is shaped by it.
With over 30 classes per week and workshops, the studio takes you from active workouts, to recovery sessions that regulate your nervous system, to deeper transformational sessions that help process trauma and past experiences. A place to reset, but also a space to strengthen your body, connect to your breath and tone. Classes span six pillars: Breathe, Sculpt, Move, Reset, Aerial and Sound.
Every detail, from the quadraphonic sound system to the skylight and our aerial hammocks, has been intentionally chosen to support busy minds, overstimulated bodies and the pace of daily life. A space to discover new practices, meet like-mineded people who are looking to live more consciously.
