About this Event
Come join us for a lovely afternoon of gentle movement, breathwork and painting - no experience necessary. Please bring a yoga mat, a blanket and a bolster (cushion or similar) for your legs.
Canvas, paint, brushes, apron, a selection of vegetarian 'picky bits' and refreshments (hot and cold) all included.
There is free street parking nearby, and Blackheath train station is a 2-minute walk.
Conscious breathing is the practice of using the breath to cultivate self-awareness, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.
Becoming aware of the breath is perhaps the most simple and most empowering practice. When you are aware of your breath, you are present.
- Please avoid eating a big meal just before the session.
- Wear comfortable clothing. Layers are a good option as your temperature may fluctuate during the breathwork.
- As food and refreshments are provided, please let us know if you have any dietary requirements or allergies.
Please bring a yoga mat, pillow and a warm blanket.

Breathwork is not suitable for individuals with a personal or family history of mental illness, seizure disorders, those taking psychiatric Medic*tion, or those with cardiovascular conditions, heart disease, high blood pressure (if not controlled by meds), glaucoma, recent surgeries, or pregnancy. Asthma is not a contraindication but please bring your inhaler if you do suffer from it.
