Yoga at 11 Brindleyplace
As you'd expect from one of the premium office buildings in Birmingham, Eleven Brindleyplace looks after the people in it with free lunchtime yoga classes for office workers - now guests from outside the building can register to attend for free too. It's all part of being a beacon in the community!
N.B. people working in an 11 Brindleyplace office do NOT book through this Eventbrite page, tenants simply email [email protected] OR turn up without booking (non-tenants MUST book in advance here using Eventbrite!)
Our experienced instructor, Mala, will guide you through a lunchtime Hatha Yoga class that is suitable for all levels, whether you're a beginner or with lots of experience. After a short warm-up there will be a series of guided postures to stretch & strengthen your whole body as you improve your mobility, posture, balance, focus & mood. It's a great way to look after your mind & body.
The class starts at 1.15pm and finishes at 2pm. When you arrive go to reception and the friendly staff will direct you - while you're onsite you can also enjoy delicious refreshments from the stylish ground floor cafe.
Mats are provided or bring your own. Wear anything you can move & breath freely in. We recommend a bottle of water.
Open to all ages and levels of fitness (not suitable if you are pregnant) - if you have pain/stiffness you have a lot to gain but use caution and discuss any injuries with YinYan (email [email protected] in confidence)/your teacher prior to class. If in any doubt seek advice from your GP.
