About this Event
Join the Soma Flow Collective!
Soma Flow Collective is landing in Ealing for it's second month. Two hours to slow down, move, and be part of something real: yoga, cacao, dancing like nobody's watching, and a sharing circle to close. Come as you are. We mean that literally.
Come as you are.
Soma Flow Collective is a new monthly gathering in Ealing, for people who don't have a spare weekend for a retreat but do have a couple of hours to land, move, and breathe.
With the launch going so beautifully last month, we new we had to do another. We're starting small and real rather than polished and perfect, and we'd love you to be in the room for it.
A quick disclaimer: this is not a wellness brand doing a "launch activation." It's Isabell, Olivia, and a walled garden in Central Ealing, having a go at something that actually matters to them. No goddess dresses. A proper little urban oasis and some people trying to shake the week off.
Here's how the evening runs, 6:30–8:30pm:
- A short, accessible yoga flow to open: nothing full-on, just enough to arrive in the body and slow the breath down
- A cacao ceremony with Olivia: a warm, grounding drink to open things up a bit further (no prior cacao experience required; it's just a really lovely drink either way)
- Somatic dance, guided by Isabell with a carefully curated playlist. There's no steps to learn, nobody watching, nobody judging. Come for the sober-Friday-night version of fun, or go deeper. Both are correct.
- A sharing circle to close, led by Olivia: space to reflect on what came up, if anything did. If nothing did, that's fine too.
It's happening at Soanes Garden Room at Pitzhanger Manor, hardwood floors, glass doors that open onto a walled garden; the kind of "clearing" in the middle of Ealing's usual hustle and bustle that makes you forget you're five minutes from the high street.
We're focused on creating community; a room full of real people, coming together on purpose, in real life, on their actual doorstep, instead of scrolling past another retreat in Bali they'll never have the annual leave for.
No experience with yoga, dance, or cacao needed. Bare feet or socks on the floor, an open mind, and a willingness to move a bit daft (optional but encouraged)
Who this is for
- Anyone who fancies slowing down for a couple of hours, you don't need to be "into wellness"
- People curious about somatic dance who've never tried it (most people haven't, that's kind of the point)
- Ealing's yoga and movement regulars looking for something a bit different
- Open to everyone.
What to bring
- Something comfortable you can move in
- A water bottle (we're not savages)
- Bare feet or socks for the movement portion
- A Yoga mat if you have one
- An open mind, and zero expectation of having it all figured out. None of us do either.
