YIN + SOUND | Nervous System Regulation$25 | Includes Tulsi Tea + Yin Yoga + Sound Immersion
Give yourself permission to slow down.
A 60-75 minute grounding practice designed to invite the body to soften, the mind to quiet, and the nervous system to settle.
With 17 years in the healing arts and as a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher trained with Ulu Yoga in Uluwatu, Bali, Cassidy guides you through an accessible Yin yoga practice paired with the immersive resonance of sound.
We’ll begin by sharing tulsi basil tea, grown right here in Cassidy’s garden, as a simple ritual to arrive, slow down, and settle into the space. Tulsi, also known as Holy Basil, is a plant deeply rooted in Indian Ayurvedic tradition and has long been valued as a sacred and supportive herb.
Unlike more active “yang” styles of yoga such as Vinyasa or Ashtanga, Yin invites you to slow down. Poses are held for several minutes with the support of props, allowing you to explore a gentle edge of sensation while remaining physically still and relaxed.
Yin works with the deeper connective tissues of the body—including fascia, ligaments, joints, and tendons—while creating space to cultivate patience, presence, and awareness.
Throughout the practice, we’ll use breath, stillness, and sound as tools for nervous system regulation, helping shift the body out of constant doing and into a state of rest and restoration.
What you may experience:
• Greater mobility and range of motion
• Release of physical tension and holding patterns
• A quieter, more focused mind
• Deep relaxation and stress relief
• A greater sense of connection to your body
• Support for the parasympathetic “rest and digest” response
• The meditative and energetic qualities of Yin practice
The class will close with an extended sound experience, allowing the body and mind to integrate the practice through vibration and resonance.
No previous yoga or sound experience is needed. This practice is for everyone.
