Guided by the philosophy "empathy equals strength," Rose has spent more than two decades producing socially conscious “media that matters”
As a video journalist, Rose has traveled to high-risk zones such as Russia, Cuba, China, Vietnam, Georgia, and Ukraine. Having completed nine visits to Ukraine since 2012—including reports from frontline cities and towns that inspired his award winning 2024 docuseries My Summer in Ukraine—Rose actively works to counter state disinformation, advocates for Ukraine and democracy in Washington, D.C., and strategically advises international film and TV projects focused on the fight for freedom.
