Part concert, part theatrical comedy and part hilariously candid exploration of modern relationships, Yes Darling stars longtime collaborators Ryan Montbleau and Hayley Jane as heightened versions of themselves. With a nostalgic 1970s variety-show aesthetic, an infectious original score and plenty of quick-witted banter, the duo turns love, lust, miscommunication, jealousy and the eternal struggle to be right into irresistible musical entertainment.
As they take their act on the road, the line between performance and reality begins to blur. Their undeniable onstage chemistry collides with the considerably messier dynamics of their offstage relationship, revealing all the affection, frustration, vulnerability and absurdity that come with trying to make music—and make a relationship work—with another person.
