I’m so excited to be returning to Ysgol Bryn Alyn on Friday 16th October with my publisher, Allan! 📚💜We’ll be taking over the morning assembly once again, this time meeting the new Year 7 pupils and starting what I hope will be another fantastic year of conversations, questions and learning.
We’ll be talking about all sorts of things, from disability awareness and challenging ableism, to my books, writing, and Accessible Wrexham — and how we can all play a part in making our communities more inclusive and accessible. ♿️📚💜
I absolutely love visiting Ysgol Bryn Alyn, and I’m really looking forward to being back in the school, meeting the new Year 7s and hopefully inspiring them to see disability and accessibility in a different way.
A huge thank you to Ysgol Bryn Alyn for their continuing support and their commitment to creating a space where these important conversations can be openly addressed, discussed and normalised without fear. Creating an environment where young people feel able to ask questions, challenge misconceptions and talk openly about disability and inclusion is so important. 💜
And, of course, Allan will be joining me again, which I wholeheartedly appreciate!
