1. For Level I Membership: National Member Federations (NMF) - only National Teams (minimum 5 participants) are permitted to participate. Along with the national team application, NMFs must provide a document confirming recognition of Combat Ju-Jutsu as the highest sporting institution by the state, materials on the national championship, and a receipt for payment of the CJJIF membership fee for the current year to the Championship Organizing Committee.
2. Level II and III Membership: Developing National Federations (DNF) and Basic National Federations (BNF) - National Teams and independent clubs are permitted to participate. Independent clubs must be under the management of the DNF / BNF during the championship and begin the process of joining the DNF / BNF after the championship.
Along with their national team application, DNF / BNF must submit a document confirming the state registration of their National Federation, materials regarding the national championship, and a receipt for payment of CJJIF membership fees for the current year, addressed to the Championship Organizing Committee. Failure to provide the required documents will result in the CJJIF refusing to allow the national team to participate in the championship and initiating a review of the federation's membership status.
Athletes who have completed and paid for accreditation for 2026 for CJJIF international competitions and have a CJJIF membership card and a license from their national federation, that is a current member of the CJJIF or from an independent club if there is no national federation in the country are eligible to compete. The responsibility of respecting this rule rests with the National Federation and / or Club that enrolls the participants. The CJJIF membership card can be purchased for 15 euros in 2026. The cost of annual accreditation for all CJJIF competitions in 2026 is 15 euros.
The nationality of the competitors will be taken as indicated in their current passport or current national identification card. Competitors can only represent one country and, in any case, change of nationality. In these circumstances, both National Federations involved must have already agreed and confirmed their agreement in writing in accordance with current federation regulations. Appropriate documentation must be provided with the application to enter the competition.
In the main grid of each weight category, no more than 4 participants from one country can compete (2 in Elite division and 2 in Challenger division after the first qualifying bout)! If the preliminary application of clubs or national federation of one country includes more than 3 athletes, these athletes must play for places in the main grid of the world championship in fights with representatives of their own country. When forming pairs for regular preliminary fights, the choice falls on participants from those countries, the number of which is greater in a given weight category. Each athlete competes only in one weight category in which he is registered.
Team
The team name can only be the country name and in case of more teams in one age group from one country it must be Country name plus number, for instance Great Britain 1, Great Britain 2, etc.
Health insurance for athletes.
Responsibility for health insurance lies with the organization sending the athlete and with the responsible parties (federation, club, parents).
4. CHAMPIONSHIP FORMULA
The competition is held according to a unique system:
CJJIF Adaptive Division System
ONE LOSS DOESN'T END THE FIGHT!!! One first-round loss does not end your tournament!
The CJJIF Adaptive Division System is a competition system in which the result of the first bout determines an athlete's subsequent division but does not end their participation in the tournament.
***After the first qualifying bout:
The winner advances to the ELITE Division;
The loser advances to the CHALLENGER Division.
Each division is then held using an adaptive system, the format of which is determined by the number of athletes in the division (Olympic bracket, semifinals, finals, or round robin).
In each division, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places are determined separately, and separate awards are provided!

Athletes' weights registered in the system Fitofan.com should not change! Weight changes during actual weigh-ins will only be possible for athletes aged 11 and under, due to their active growth. They are not recommended to actively lose or maintain weight for medical reasons, and their weight may fluctuate frequently. To this end, a more centralized system for athlete registration for international competitions is being introduced! Access to registering athletes for a country's national team for international competitions will be limited to one administrator from the national federation and the president of the national federation. If a country does not have a federation with exclusive rights to represent a given sport due to its failure to meet development criteria at the current time, the head of an associated club approved by the CJJIF will have the same registration rights.
Each country will be required to provide information including the name, email address, and photo of the people who will be handling this in the Fitofan.com system.
