On the first Sunday of each month, we’ll be gathering and sharing kai with our XCHC community, welcoming curious newcomers, prospective volunteers, and anyone who’s simply keen to share some kai and spend time with good people.Bring a dish if you can (or just bring yourself). We’ll be cooking too, so there’ll be plenty to go around, with vegetarian/vegan and gluten-free options.

XCHC is a cultural fourth space in Ōtautahi. It’s a place for making things, sharing ideas, learning, experimenting, and finding ways to be in community together. If you’ve been curious about getting involved, want to volunteer occasionally, or simply want to poke your head in and see what’s going on, this is a great place to start.
We want XCHC to be an accessible and welcoming space. If it’s your first time and you’d feel more comfortable knowing someone when you arrive, flick us a message, we’d be happy to connect you with a friendly face beforehand.
