Crunchy bubblegrungers” Wynona Bleach signed their debut to Legendary label Fierce Panda Records (Coldplay, Placebo) in 2021. The acclaimed “Moonsoake” (Feb 2022) was recorded with Bill Ryder-Jones in an abandoned factory in Portugal, after they had been personally chosen to support Alice in Chains on the Irish leg of their world tour. Formed in 2018, as a previous outfit they performed at Reading & Leeds festivals, & a completed a 12 date headline tour of Russia (covering 6500 miles). They were nominated for the NI Music Prize for both Album & Live act in ‘22, whilst on a winter tour which included Other Voices Festival. This was followed by showcases at SXSW ’23, New Colossus Festival (NYC), a full UK/IRL tour (incl. Ireland Music Week 2023) & a 5 date tour supporting Ash. In late 2024, they began recording their 2nd album with Andy Bradfield and Avril Mackintosh (The **, Manic st Preachers, Bryan Adams),& released the singles “Swim in the Bay”, “I Deserve That” and “Tangerine” ahead of returning to the US for showcases at SXSW 2025, New Colossus (NYC), Irish Music showcases in Nashville, TN and a personal invitation to perform at Bob Clearmountain’s studio at Apogee, in Santa Monica, LA. This sophomore album is now completed with a release date TBC
