About this Event
A day exploring contemporary thinking and writing on psychoanalytic and psychodynamic supervision, with clinical papers, discussion and opportunities to think together about the practice of supervision.
Supervision is central to our work, yet how we understand and write about it continues to develop.
This BAPPS symposium brings together a range of perspectives on supervision, with a particular focus on clinical writing and current thinking about the supervisory relationship.
The day offers an opportunity to engage with published and emerging clinical thinking, hear from experienced practitioners, and consider how writing can illuminate the complexities of supervisory work.
What to expect
- Presentations of clinical papers and current writing on supervision
- Different perspectives on the practice and experience of supervision
- Space for discussion and reflection
- An opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with colleagues working across psychoanalytic and psychodynamic settings
