Writers ‘Round PDX is a songwriting, storytelling showcase with open and feature rounds where songwriters are encouraged to share the stories and processes behind their songs. Each round consists of three performers, playing one song at a time.

📍 This free event is all-ages and takes place every first Wednesday at Arbor Beer Lodge. Arbor Beer Lodge has food carts, drinks, and free parking.

Part of the @writersroundcommunity, Writers ‘Round PDX is centered around songwriting, storytelling, and community for both musicians and music lovers. The combination of curated and open rounds creates a unique show — celebrating the craft of songwriting at any level.
The Portland chapter of Writers Round is curated by members of the Portland Songwriters Guild, along with Portland songwriters Ben Grace and Ronnie Carrier, who also host the event. This chapter joins many across the country, including New Jersey, San Diego, and the flagship chapter in Los Angeles.
This event exists to bring songwriters and music-makers together in a creative, inclusive, and supportive space. We are committed to fostering a welcoming environment for all — one where every person is treated with kindness, dignity, and respect.
