Writer's Retreat @ the Rock Inn

Whether you’re already working on a project or looking for some creative ideas, every writer needs time, space and a bit of peace and quiet. Before the Rock Inn opens for the day, come along and spend some time in the quiet company of other writers.

At each retreat, we’ll start things off by introducing ourselves and what we’re working on (if you want to!) and we’ll finish with a short progress update. In between, you can crack on with your work or find inspiration from a range of creative prompts. Please note though that this is not a structured writing class.

After the session officially ends at 1100, writers are welcome to stay on until 1200 whilst the pub is prepared for opening. And, of course, once the pub opens at 1200, you’re welcome to stay and have a chat with your fellow writers. The Rock Inn stocks the usual range of beers, ales, wines and spirits, as well as a selection of low and non-alcoholic drinks.

No previous writing experience is necessary - this retreat is for anyone who needs to carve out a bit of quiet time to put pen to paper.
