About this Event
Every year I open up my home for a small, relaxed afternoon of Christmas wreath making, surrounded by fresh greenery, beautiful botanicals, good food and a warm fire.
I’ve been hosting these workshops for several years, and they’ve become one of my favourite traditions. I’ll show you how I create my signature half-dressed wreaths — a more natural, contemporary take on the traditional Christmas wreath, inspired by Scottish greenery and the textures and colours I use in my interiors and artwork. You are welcome to make a full bodied wreath or a centrepiece too x
We’ll work with a mixture of fresh pine and seasonal greenery, eucalyptus, holly, dried botanicals, berries, cotton, pinecones and other natural materials. I’ll demonstrate my process and help you create a wreath that feels completely your own, supporting you along the way.
What to expect
🥂 Prosecco and homemade nibbles to enjoy while we work. I am a really good cook ;)
🔥 A relaxed afternoon at my home, with the fire on and Christmas music in the background
🌿 All materials provided, including your natural wreath base, fresh greenery and dried botanicals
✂️ Step-by-step guidance and individual help throughout the workshop
🎄 Your finished wreath to take home at the end of the afternoon
There is no need for any previous experience. The idea is simply to spend a few hours making something beautiful with your hands, enjoy the atmosphere and leave with a piece you’ll genuinely want to hang in your home. Many say it is very therapeutic and relaxing.
If a wreath isn’t quite your thing, you can choose to make a festive table centrepiece instead. You can also make both, subject to an additional £35 charge on the day to cover the additional base, candles and materials.
Please arrive around 5 minutes before the workshop begins so you can settle in, have a drink and meet everyone before we start. I will chat first so it is okay if you are shy and want to come on your own. I will be your friend x
