The End of Isolation will have its world premiere at the San Francisco DocFest on May 31 at 2:15 PM at the Vogue Theater.
Please join us for both the and the afterparty! (Don't forget to get your tickets!)
We're kicking off our national tour of screenings. We need your energy in the room to generate the momentum and buzz that this film deserves.
The theme of the afterparty is Freedom Dreaming. We spend so much time in our movement struggling and fighting... We need moments like this to take a breath together, celebrate our victories, and collectively imagine the beautiful future we're building.
The afterparty will take place immediately following the film. We’ll walk together to the JCC (a 3-minute walk from the Vogue) for the chance to celebrate all the work, intention, and care that brought this film to life.
You’ll also hear from some of the film’s participants and have time to connect with the community that has formed around this project.
Inez Bordeaux, one of our community partners and stars of the film, is visiting from St. Louis for the premiere. We're excited for a chance for you to meet her.
Afterparty Details:
- There will be an altar, a community sharing circle (centering formerly incarcerated voices and key contributors to the film), and a guided visualization led by Jihan McDonald, award-winning facilitator, speaker, and trained spiritual director.
- We encourage you to dress up! There will be music and lots of wonderful folks to connect with.
- Light refreshments and drinks will be provided. (Catering by Lizette Rocha)
- Kids are welcome!
- FYI: Parking will be limited, so we recommend arriving early and finding a spot near the Vogue Theater before the screening.
Space is limited. Please RSVP to let us know if you plan to join us for the afterparty.
