This year Copenhagen hosts a unique international gathering: the World Hearing Voices Congress — a meeting place for voice hearers, families, practitioners, researchers and allies from around the world. Together we create a shared space of listening, learning and human connection.
The congress is built on a simple but radical idea: experiences of voices, visions and extreme states are part of the richness of human life, and they can only be understood by listening to the stories behind them. Here, people are not reduced to diagnoses or labels. Instead, participants meet as equals in what becomes a living library of human experience.
Across workshops, conversations and creative sessions, participants explore many ways of making meaning together — through dialogue, storytelling, art, theatre and relational practices.
