Workshop Description
Make a cool guided collage project with Susan! Susan has been teaching collage for 10 years now and is a WasteShed regular volunteer and supporter. She will show you all the basics and will share some tips and tricks that she's learned throughout her extensive collage practice! Leave with your own collage in hand!
All supplies included- meaning you can riffle through our multiple bins of cool vintage pictures, vintage magazines, paper scraps, etc.
No experience neccessary!
Meet The Artist
Susan Gomez is a mixed media artist and a long-time WasteShed volunteer who grew up in Humboldt Park. She has many years of experience teaching people of all ages Zentangle, Collage and Button Making. She has spent the last decade making art accessible to her community, and believes that anybody can make art!
Documentation
Your participation in a WasteShed program constitutes implied consent to be photographed, and for those images to be utilized by The WasteShed for educational, fundraising, and marketing purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let a staff member know and we’ll be happy to respect your wishes.
Parking
Free street parking is available on the street outside of The WasteShed, but spots may be limited so please plan accordingly. The Kimball bus stops right outside our doors! Please let us know if you need wheelchair access.
Refunds:
We can only issue refunds up to 7 days before the event. We can refund you the full ticket price but not the Eventbrite Fees as they collect that money and we do not. Thank you for your understanding!
