INTERFLOW: Open Contemporary Movements and Improvisations
Taught by Olivia Emert
COST: Free!
WHEN: Sunday October 25, 10:00am - 11:15am
WHERE: Tenaska Center for Arts Engagement
Class Description: INTERFLOW is an open level movement class that is designed to experience movement deeper through memory and sensation. We begin with a guided meditation and body scan to lead us into an improvisational warm up. We then use memory, visualization, and task based prompts to explore our bodies in our own movement language. In our visualizations, we dive into emotions, imagery, environments and more. Any skill level is encouraged! This class is open to all and adaptations are encouraged. In INTERFLOW, everyone is welcome and encouraged to take agency in the room and make choices that will support them in their movement.
