About this Event
What does working well with people look like?
Employers value more than technical skills. Communication, reliability, teamwork and handling everyday situations can make a real difference at work. You may already use many of these skills in work, volunteering or everyday life.
This two-hour workshop gives you opportunities to recognise, practise and talk about those strengths.
What we will explore
- Active listening, communication and teamwork.
- Reliability, professional boundaries and confidentiality.
- Basic safeguarding awareness and knowing when to ask for support.
- Giving and receiving feedback and working with people from different backgrounds.
- Turning everyday examples into useful evidence for CVs and interviews.
The session involves discussion and practical group activities. It is the fifth core module in the Steps Towards Work series, completing the 12-hour core training offer for participants who have attended all five modules.
