About this Event
Alexandra Steinacker-Clark (author of Working in Art: How to Build A Career in the Art World, Octopus) and Holly EJ Black (author of The Story of Printmaking, Yale University Press) invite you to an evening conversation to celebrate the publication of their two new books.
Using printmaking as a lens, the pair will explore what it really means to work in the art world today, from the collector base and accessibility of the print market, to the specialist ecosystem of galleries, auction houses, print studios and advisors that surrounds it. They'll also reflect on their experiences as arts writers and what goes into making two very different kinds of art books.
An evening for collectors, arts professionals, and those curious about how prints are situated within the art market.
