A small women’s breathwork experience in Chelsea, near Ottawa, to soften self-criticism, quiet inner pressure, and meet yourself gently.
About this Event

An intimate afternoon for women who want to slow down, step away from the pressure of everyday life, and practice meeting themselves with a little more gentleness.

Only 12 women will be part of this experience. Eight women are already joining us, with four spaces remaining.

Together, we will move through mindful movement and grounding, heart-coherence meditation, conscious connected breathwork, journaling, tea, and optional sharing.

No previous experience with breathwork, meditation, or mindful movement is needed. You are welcome to come exactly as you are.

Sometimes the way we speak to ourselves becomes so familiar that we barely notice it.

The pressure to keep going. The expectation to handle everything well. The voice that tells us we should be doing more, coping better, getting it right, or somehow being different than we are.

That inner critic can become so woven into everyday life that we stop recognizing how much energy it takes to live under its constant pressure.

Is an opportunity to step away from some of that pressure, slow things down, and explore what it feels like to meet yourself with more gentleness, curiosity, and compassion.

What the afternoon will look like

We will begin with mindful movement and grounding, giving you time to arrive, settle into the space, and reconnect with your body before moving into a guided heart-coherence meditation.

From there, we will move into a conscious connected breathwork journey accompanied by carefully chosen music.

Breathwork can feel different for everyone. You may notice emotion, energy, physical sensations, insight, stillness, or simply become more aware of what is happening within you.

There is no particular experience you need to have and nothing you need to accomplish through the breath.

Your experience is always your own. You will be encouraged to go at your own pace and can change your breathing, return to your natural breath, pause, or rest whenever you need to.

After the breathwork, there will be quiet time to rest, journal, and notice what is present before we slowly come together for optional sharing, tea, snacks, and connection.

The intention is not to silence your inner critic, fix yourself, or become a different version of you.

It is an opportunity to notice what happens when the pressure softens, even for an afternoon, and to practice meeting yourself with a little less criticism and a little more kindness.
