About this Event
Women Who Carry Home is an in-person, art-based workshop for immigrant women in Victoria, BC.
About the workshop
Part of an international project founded by Elham Khezri, Art Therapist and Founder of Gleam Journey Art Therapy Centre, Chapter One invites participants to explore identity, cultural roots, migration, home, and belonging through guided reflection and creative art-making.
No previous art experience is required. This supportive, inclusive space values personal stories and creative expression over artistic skill, and makes room for meaningful connection and cultural diversity.
A project across cities
Victoria is the first chapter of a project envisioned to continue in Vancouver, Dubai, and other cities. Spaces are limited.
