A 2-Week Wine Series with Alisha Blackwell-Calvert
Join us at SOUL Wine & Cocktails for a four-week journey through the world of wine, led by acclaimed Advanced Sommelier Alisha Blackwell-Calvert.
Tuesday evening, Alisha will guide guests through a relaxed and approachable exploration of wine — tasting wines from different regions around the world while learning how to identify flavor profiles, understand varietals and regions, and discover how food and wine work together.
Alisha is one of St. Louis’ most accomplished wine professionals. An Advanced Sommelier and experienced wine educator and judge, she was named one of Wine Enthusiast’s 40 Under 40 Tastemakers, nominated for Sommelier of the Year, and recognized as a 2025 James Beard Award semifinalist for Outstanding Professional in Beverage Service.

Our menu is intentionally small and thoughtfully curated, featuring approachable wines, well-crafted cocktails, and simple bites in a warm, comfortable space. Through unique events like our Wine & Learn series, SOUL is a place to engage with new people, try something different, learn a little, and stay awhile.
