About this Event
Spend a relaxing and creative day learning the traditional craft of willow basket weaving with expert tutors from Westcountry Willows at Danú Community Garden.
In this 5-hour hands-on workshop, you'll be guided through every step of the basket-making process, from working with natural willow to shaping and weaving your own beautiful basket. Suitable for beginners and those with some experience, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills while working with sustainable, natural materials.
Participants will also discover more about Danú Community Garden, its role in promoting biodiversity, sustainability, and community engagement, and how traditional crafts connect us with the natural world.
By the end of the day, you'll leave with:
