Join us for an engaging presentation by David Hoferer exploring the importance of wildlife corridors and how connected habitats help Iowa’s wildlife thrive.
Wildlife need more than isolated patches of habitat, they need safe ways to move between them. Corridors can provide essential connections between forests, prairies, wetlands, and other natural areas, helping wildlife find food, shelter, breeding grounds, and safer routes through an increasingly fragmented landscape.
David will share insights into Iowa’s wildlife connectivity, the challenges facing wildlife as natural areas become increasingly disconnected, and what we can do to help protect and strengthen these important connections.
